I tend to play the most artifact hate in my pods, so I can see how adding a couple of Manamorphose-esque cantrip effects to decks that draw cards via landfall could be beneficial. But that doesn't mean that they're not worth testing out if it works better for your pods. Personally I don't play a single rock that doesn't produce double what it costs to cast because netting mana means more to my game plans than inching ahead or fixing colors does most of the time anyway. I personally play the combo variant because the wins are more decisive and I can still drop Titania on turn 1 several ways and get an additional one or two tokens all one the first turn.īut all of that said, idk if the two sorceries would be strictly more beneficial 100% of the time even for these decks. But some people have built the deck in a completely different way that is less combo focused and more aggressive to essentially guarantee a rapid Titania with a couple of bodies very early to knock out Ad Naus and wall T&T and Najeela early. The only reason I haven't played either card in Titania is because I've already cut most of the rocks from the deck because they're not as powerful as additional land drops and they don't synergize well with the deck, so I don't have much space available for land ramp spells when I primarily focus on playing additional lands instead. I haven't yet given Nature's Lore or Three Visits a chance in Windgrace or Titania, but they're both relatively solid in Omnath because they come in untapped and either net a card or propel the boardstate to a point where future drops net cards. Each of these decks can run Collector Ouphe and Null Rod with no loss, and can even run Glacial Chasm or effects like it for incredible value. ![]() Locus of the Roil is an amazing Food Chain and Lotus Breach commander that utilizes landfall in a late game to net card advantage, Titania is a sweet Combo deck that is difficult to interact with because the combo pieces are mostly lands, and Lord Windgrace is just kind of brutal. People have mentioned Tatyova and Gitrog already, but I think Lord Windgrace, Titania, and Omnath (Locus of the Roil) all have possible seats at the table even if they're not listed in the decklist database. ![]() If your meta/league has custom rules or bans we ask that you move your requests to /r/EDH instead. Please use the Magic Judges chat to ask about rules and card interactions. List any experience (if any) you've had with the deck.īe respectful of all suggestions and criticisms. Include the deck's main goal and how it gets there. Include commanders, strategies, wincons, or if you are going into a blind meta. If you cannot afford a bunch of cards all at once feel free to ask which suggestions you should prioritize getting first. ![]()
